Name: Alexandra Louise Lees Nickname: Alex Age: Twenty Gender: Female Species: Human
Appearance: Alex has a slim, petite frame, though she never works to keep it that way, it just does. Her hair is a shade of blonde, most of the time it is styled in a soft curled type look, other times it’s straightened. She has a soft, pale, smooth complexion, for she does not believe in tans, too paranoid about cancer, among other things. Her eye colour is that of a captivating hazel shade. Alex’s fashion can go any where from the casual tank top and short shorts to an elegant sundress. Whatever her mood is whatever she wears. She doesn’t wear a lot of make up, either, preferring a natural, light shade if any. Other from that, look to her picture in my signature.
Personality: Alex has a very ‘colourful’ personality, I suppose you could say. She has three different ‘sides’ to her, and add that to rapid mood swings, such as most women have, it can cause trouble, sometimes, other times, Alex is just that girl who anyone can get along with. She’s really quite polite – kind, caring – most of the time, though if someone does happen to insult her in anyway, then she will bite back with a malice that frightens most. Though sometimes, just to agitate them, she’ll simply insult them back, though in a polite way – the more harsher the insults, the politer she puts them. Which, usually does not end pretty – usually. Being who she is, Alex also needs to uphold a ‘calm’ exterior, especially for her job, in which she is extremely professional, yet not quite so, still keeping a bit of that ‘Alex-charm’. Alex has this sort of ‘happy’ side, where she’ll basically be the brightest person you’d have ever met in you life. Sometimes, amazingly, Alex can also have a shy, timid side – much like her one of her best friend’s, Elizabeth’s – that rarely gets a chance to show, though it is there. Another side that most who are close to her know, is her ‘bad’ side. The side where she is the complete opposite of the other two, though it is only provoked through extreme causes – and it does take a very talent person in the department of ‘pissing-people-off’ to bring out this side of her. Otherwise, Alex is your – perhaps not so average – everyday human female in her early twenties.
History: Alex was born into a family of wealth. Though, she was not spoilt, as most tend to think offspring to a family of this would be. The ‘Lees’ family, was made up of four, seeing as though the other generations had long since passed and Jack Lees was an only child. The four being Jack, her father, Cassandra, her mother, James, her big brother – older by sixteen years, and Alex herself. Unfortunately, though, the number was cut in half, when Alex’s parents were killed in a car accident:; On the evening of Alex’s sixth birthday, Cassandra, Jack, and Alex herself were driving back home after going out for dinner. It was pouring down with rain at the time, and there was a drag race being held illegally by two ‘contestants’. Just as the driver had driven the car half way into the intersection after the light had gone green, one of the two cars lost control and slammed right into the front of the black Mercedes. Cassandra and Jack, whom were in the front, died instantly. Alex was in hospital for three days, while people fussed over whether it was safe to let her go, though she only suffered a few cuts and broken bones, also because she hadn’t uttered a single word, and kept staring off into the distance. As soon as James had herd of the accident, he got the first plane back and, though heartbroken, was already taking the responsibilities of the family company, funeral arrangements and taking care of Alex, whom still hadn’t said anything.
Two years later, Alex was starting school again – having been home schooled by a personal teacher, James’ idea – after James began to really worry about her, since she preferred to stay in the house and exert herself in working – anything that she thought needed to be done, which was basically everything. Starting grade three in the middle of the year, wasn’t so bad, Alex only talked when she saw the need to – answering questions, etc. – and kept up her grades, which were perfect, the teachers loved her because of this – the fact the they had one less trouble in their class.
In Alex’s third year of high school she began to draw the attention of some of the ‘popular-gangs’. Now, no matter the school, you’re always going to have the people that think they’re better then you, even though that’s the complete opposite, and they are going to pick on you. That’s exactly what happened to Alex, sadly. Though she ignored it, treating them as if they were invisible, they continued to do it. Even in the classroom, when the teachers weren’t there. Until, finally, she had had enough. Something snapped in her that day, all of those emotions and feelings that had been locked up for years came pouring out, and the people who received the massive ‘fit-of-rage’ – as James put it jokingly after he picked her up from the office – never went near her again, no one did after that.
Alex began to talk again, and start acting herself before the accident, two weeks after that. Though she still never celebrated her birthday, only visit her parents grave, on the ninth of March every year.
Now, Alex has just recently graduated from college and has joined a partnership with James in the family business. Though she also has side jobs, like fashion designing and is working on a novel. She hasn’t showed interest in having a relationship, nor has James – though Alex does tease him about it, saying he just can’t get one. At the moment, Alex is very happy with her life, she never speaks about her sixth birthday.
